Obama Rally in Anchorage, 04 October 2008
04 October 2008.
The Park Strip (9th and I);
Anchorage, Alaska.
We headed downtown for the Obama/Biden rally earlier today. An overcast day, yes -- but there was a lot of energy, hope and warmth along the Park Strip. And a ton of honking horns. I tell you, despite the polls -- there's a lot of support for Obama and Biden up here.
More details later. For now, Pix:
Many thanks to all the volunteers and organizers who put this together. It was a fantastic event!
If you're stumbling here for the first time, here's a taste of Alaskiana - as we've experienced it.
And if you're looking for solid commentary and information on Palin & Alaska, the Mudflats site should be your new virtual home.

Hey Janson,
These photos say it all: people ARE ready for change! And change is coming soon. A mere month until the Obama team shows the McCain/Palin muchrackers that truth and beauty will win over ugliness and evil every time!
