Okay, so "LOGOS" means "To appeal to things that just make sense." You know, like logic and stuff. Like, imagine if a friend walked up to you, hit you, and then asked you, "Hey, you, can I has twenty dollars?" You'd be like, "No" and so on. That wouldn't make no sense. It would be what the scientists call untrue or unrational. It just wouldn't make no sense.
So yeah, when you're trying to make an arguement with someone to get somebody to give you something, to convince them, you don't want to come off as crazy. Ergo, on the other hand, you want to come off all logical. Like Mr. Spock.
